Twenty Three

I finally managed to complete another funk podcast, and published Pod of Funk #23 after a month of being totally snowed under by so-called "real" work.
It's cool that there are more tracks coming into the "podsafe" arena - although I would much prefer to include George Clinton, James Brown, Fred Wesley and Tower of Power in there, I've discovered the wonderfully talented and incredibly funky Betty Davis - that's Miles Davis' wife, not the film actress - whose early 1970s music is being remastered and re-released.

Relatively speaking, I'm a bit of a luddite at heart, so I haven't really been 'grabbed' by the whole podcasting thing -yet (I'm still watching inordinate amounts of TV and listening to random slabs of radio-comedy & stuff).
That said, I just gave your 23rd offering a listen & found it to be a pretty damn high quality production -IMHO.
Cool music & professional MC-ing; it made me think of Tim Westwood at one point, except you play good music & you don't sound like a tit (so nothing like him really¦:¬)
Inspired ending, also.
Nice one.
The Lord is on thy side.
